Meera Chopra makes way with Nagarjuna’s Love Story

Love Story is the upcoming romantic entertainer starring Nagarjuna and Nayantara in the lead roles. Latest is the actress Meera Chopra is making her way to start her second innings in Tollywood with this Love Story. Meera Chopra, who was last seen in Nithin starred Maaro has taken a long break and now Meera has got a better start with Nagarjuna's Love Story, in which she is going to play a pivotal role. Dasarath is wielding the megaphone for Love Story, who has already started canning the first schedule in Hyderabad. D Sivaprasad Reddy is producing Love Story under his Kamakshi Kala Movies banner that showcases Nagarjuna in the role of an NRI coming to India for the first time. Love Story has music being scored by SS Thaman and cinematography by Anil Bhandari among the technical crew.

Nara Rohit-Nithya Menon’s Okkadine in last leg

Nara Rohit is pairing up with Nithya Menon for their next movie titled 'Okkadine' is no more a news. Latest on Okkadine is, the movie is taking fast shape in the hands of director Srinivas Raga. Director Srinivas Raga has started shooting the climax sequences of Okkadine from yesterday [June 27] in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City. Okkadine has completed the shooting of major parts while the climax and 3 songs are remaining to wrap up the talkie part. CV Reddy is producing Okkadine that has playback singer turn music composer Karthik composing the music notes and background. Dialogue King Sai Kumar is playing a key role in Okkadine as Nithya Menon's father, while veteran actors Kota Srinivasa Rao and Naga Babu forms the remaining cast. Okkadine will be wrapped up by the mid July, while release date is not finalized yet.

NTR is not MLA for Harish Shankar

Harish Shankar, who is on cloud nine after his Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh was a huge hit at the box-office. The Mirapakai director has announced his next to have NTR and Shruthi Hassan in the lead roles. Latest we hear is, Tollywood tinsel town buzzes that the movie would be MLA, which was denied by the Harish Shankar. Remember MLA was the name of the script that was discussed by the duo NTR and Harish, before the latter has started Mirapakai with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Now Harish has denied the rumors on their next movie to be MLA saying, "This untitled venture is an entirely different script and it is going to be an entertainer." Dil Raju will produce the yet-to-be-titled film under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.

Suresh Babu thrilled watching Eega: Rajamouli

SS Rajamouli, the top notch director in the Telugu film industry, has recently screened a special show for the producers of Eega and they felt extremely thrilled with the experience. The producers Suresh Babu, who has produced Eega in Telugu happened to see the movie along with Prasad V Potluri, the producer of the Tamil version of Eega titled Naan Ee. Sharing the experiences Rajamouli tweeted in his micro-blogging page "Sureshbabu & PVP [Naan Ee producer] saw the 1st copy last night, both of them hugged me & said they were proud to be a part of Eega, felt so so so so happy." Samantha, Nani and Kachcha Sudeep starred Naan Ee has recently completed all the censor formalities and is certified with a clean U. However the makers of Naan Ee are all set to release the movie in all the three languages as Eega in Telugu, Naan Ee in Tamil and Eecha in Malayalam simultaneously on July 6th.

Esha Deol, Bharat Takhtani tie the knot

Actress Esha Deol Friday married businessman Bharat Takhtani in a traditional South Indian ceremony at the Iskon temple in the Juhu suburb here. Her mother, Hema Malini, says she is "very happy" for her daughter. Bride Esha was glowing in a red lehenga made of three Kanjivaram saris and gold jewellery, while Bharat looked dapper in white sherwani with zardozi work. The wedding outfits were designed by Neeta Lulla. The decor at the temple was simple yet beautiful. It was heavily decorated with flowers. Hema said she will miss her daughter, adding: "It was a normal South Indian wedding, with just slight changes. I am very happy for Esha, she has found the right person. We all are very happy. I will miss her but she is going to be in Mumbai, so I am happy about that." She was talking to reporters after the wedding. The dress code for women was Kanjivarm saris and Hema looked elegant in a orange-red hand woven six yard, which she teamed up with a green blouse and kept her hair neatly tied at the the back. Esha's dad and yesteryear star Dharmendra kept it simple - he chose to wear white kurta-pyjama. The ceremony saw the presence of creme da la creme from filmdom as well as politicians and businessmen. Amitabh Bachchan came with son Abhishek and said: "My best wishes to the married couple." Legendary actress Vyjayanthimala, who attened the wedding, looked evergreen in a purple and orange traditional sari and said that she would have "not missed the occasion". "Hema is like a younger sister. The wedding has been done in a fabulous way. It is totally traditional. I am here only for Hema, we are like family," she added. Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha's wife, Poonam Sinha, also came with her twin sons - Luv and Kush. She looked beautiful in a pink and golden sari. Hema's niece and actress Madhoo is happy for her cousin and said: "I want to tell her that marriage in beautiful. Marriage is all about what you do for the other person, so you should never fall into any power struggle. She has gone into a good family and I wish her all the best." Madhoo was wearing a golden and maroon sari. Vinod Khanna, Manoj Kumar, Anu Malik, Esha's cousin Abhay Deol, Ramesh Sippy, Sandip Soparrkar and his wife Jesse Randhwa were also there to bless the couple. Rani Mukerji, looking beautiful in a white sari with red embroidery, was among the guests and said: "I am here to wish Esha on her special day. All the best for her married life." The duo worked together in "Yuva". Fardeen Khan said he hopes that the couple should go to a nice place for honeymoon. "Lots of congratulations. I am very happy for her. I hope they go on a good honeymoon to get away from this heat." Sahara's chief Subroto Roy, industrialist Mukesh Ambani's wife Neeta Ambani and Sunil Rane of Atharva Group of Institutes, who is a family friend, were among the other high profile guests. Top notch Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders too attended the wedding. From Raj Purohit, Mumbai chief of BJP, to party president Nitin Gadkari to national vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi - were seen there. The family will host a reception Saturday at a prominent five star hotel in the city.

Balaji Motion Pictures' adult-comedy "Kya Super Kool Hain Hum" stars Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias as the female leads and Riteish Deshmukh says that the girls make the sequel look fresh. "It doesn't feel like we are working with newcomers. Their energy, enthusiasm, freshness has made our film look fresh with a new energy," said the 33-year-old said in an interview. "They are far more confident. When I did my second film, I was not as confident as them. I wish I was as confident as these two are," he added. While former Miss India Sarah debuted with "Game" in 2011, Neha was first seen opposite Emran Hashmi in "Crook: It's Good to be bad." Another male lead of the film, Tusshar Kapoor, believes, "We have got the right girls for the right roles. I think Neha is very much like Simran and Sarah is very much like Anu." Directed by Sachin Yardi, "Kya Super Kool Hain Hum" is a sequel to the 2005-film "Kya Kool Hain Hum" and hits theatres July 27.
