Allu Aravind Producing Priyamani’s Charulatha

Priyamani has signed on a tri-lingual film titled as Charulatha, to be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.  The film is inspired by the 2007 Thai movie Alone, which had Thai-German pop singer Marsha Wattanapanich in lead role. "Some changes have been made to the original script to suit the taste of south Indian audience," said a press release from the production house, Global One Studios.
The Telugu version of this movie will be produced by Allu Aravind under the banner, Geetha Arts.'Charulatha' will have Mollywood actor Skandha as protagonist. Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and 'Vettaikaran' Sai Sasi are doing crucial roles.  The film will be directed by Pon Kumaran, a former associate to K Bhagyaraj and KS Ravikumar.   the Kannada version will be by Dwarakeesh.
Ramesh Krishnamoorthy will take care of the Tamil version on behalf of Global One Studios.
The film is presumably planned to be made on a big budget.  For Priyamani, this is the most important project and a test to her talent.  In her last Telugu release Kshetram, Priyamani was seen doing 'karra samu.'  We will now see her doing even more interesting arts.
