Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has started to hone her Telugu on the sets of "Zanjeer". Since this film is tipped to be bilingual (Hindi and Telugu), Priyanka told the makers that she will dub for her own voice for the Telugu version. And guess who's training Priyanka on this? It's her co-star Ram Charan! Priyanka joins the growing list of non-Telugu girls like Tamannaah, Samantha, Shruti Haasan, Anushka and Taapsee who are learning the nuances of Telugu. Apparently, mega power star Ram Charan has become Priyanka Chopra's 'language buddy' as the actor is assisting his "Zanjeer" co-star in picking up her Telugu. Sources say Priyanka Chorpa is determined to pick the language and even graduate to dub her own lines for the Telugu version. Both Priyanka and Charan are swapping tongues it seems. While Charan is helping the Bollywood babe in picking up her Telugu, the actress is assisting the Telugu star is horning his Hindi. However, there's a lot of variation in their on-screen characters. While Ram character is the strong but doesn't have to speak much, Priyanka's character is garrulous and bubbly. So if "Piggy Chops" can pick up the language pretty quickly, then she's sure to give the Southern girls a ruin for their money. Zanjeer is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Amit Mehra. Priyanka Chopra, apart from Bipasha Basu, is one of the two Bollywood heroines who will be gracing Ram Charan's wedding on June 14. |
